Healthy Vegan BLT and Oil Free Fries

I was really happy with how this recipe came out yesterday. You don't need vegan mayo and oil for a recipe to taste good. I smear the avocado on the bread as a mayo replacement. And using parchment paper or a silicon mat allows you to bake without using oil. Fries and sandwiches have a bad reputation for being unhealthy but it just depends how you prepare them. =)


Vegan BLT

Morning star brand vegan bacon

1 avocado

1 tomato

romaine lettuce

sourdough bread


Toast your sourdough bread. Heat 2-4 slices of vegan bacon as instructed on the package. I usually just microwave it for 2 mins. Cut your tomato and lettuce and avocado. Smear and spread your avocado onto each slice of bread. About 1/2 an avocado per slice. Then add your other sandwich toppings, close, and cut in half to serve.


Oil free Fries

2–4 Potatoes, depending on size

Seasonings of Choice + Salt

Silicone Mat or parchment paper


Preheat your oven to 425F. Place the Seasoned Fries onto a baking tray lined with a Silicone Mat, making sure they do not touch. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
